Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Sip Streak (“we”, “us”, the “app”) handles your information. We built Sip Streak to be private by design: your hydration data stays on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device (using your device’s local storage) and does not transmit it to us:

  • Your profile inputs (name, body weight, activity level, climate) used to calculate your goal.
  • Your daily water logs, goals, streaks and achievements.
  • Your app settings (units, reminders, theme, wake/sleep window).

Because this data is local, deleting the app removes it. We cannot recover it for you.

2. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers. You can disable them anytime in your device settings.

3. Subscriptions & purchases

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscription status. When you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related information (such as a transaction identifier and an anonymous app-user identifier) so the app can unlock Premium features and manage renewals.

  • We do not receive or store your credit card or payment details — Apple handles all payments.

4. Data we do not collect

  • We do not require an account or ask you to sign in.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Children’s privacy

Sip Streak is rated 4+ and is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, as hydration data is stored only on the user’s device.

6. Your choices

  • Disable reminders anytime in the app or device settings.
  • Delete individual log entries within the app.
  • Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
